Organic and Melange

With the current focus on sustainability, today’s consumers are actively looking for healthy and ecologically oriented lifestyles. Almost one in four consumers are now considered part of LOHAS (Lifestyle of Health and Sustainability) - the fastest growing consumer target market. For years now Scheurich has been putting its role as market leader to work for the environment, manufacturing in Germany and using technologies and materials acknowledged as environmentally friendly. The company’s new introductions for 2009 continue in this spirit. The feminine form of the high-quality planters from the Organic series gives them a soft and natural feel, whilst the base is angled inwards to give the appearance that the pot is almost ‘floating’ above the surface. The colours have been selected to complement the organic design: Cream, Panna, Muscat and Grey - all tones found in nature. The Organic range also includes a rippled effect; Melange. This decorative finish starts near the top edge in a velvety nutmeg and ripples down towards the base, giving a shimmering play of colours. The concept is completed with taller pots in Grey and Panna, which have a narrow waist to safely hold standard commercial pots at just the right height.
